Our Teachers
Simone Nielsen - Director, Teacher
Mrs. Nielsen is in her second year as director and currently teaches the Young 3's Class and the
3- & 4-Year-Old Class. Simone has been a part of the school as an assistant teacher, substitute,
and parent helper for a decade. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Wheaton College and
a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education (Teacher Licensure) from Trinity College.

Becki Harper - Teacher
Mrs. Harper currently teaches the Pre-K class and has previously been part of the school as the
Young 3's Class teacher, substitute teacher, and parent helper. She was an elementary school
teacher and an instructor for gifted students for seven years and a school administrator for three
years. Mrs. Harper has her Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Lambuth University
and a Masters of Education in Administration and Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University.

Anne Cole and Andrea Anderson - Assistant Teachers
Anne and Andrea assist in the Young 3's Class and the 3- & 4-Year-Old Class. Anne, a mother of
two former students, has served as the school's registrar and as a substitute teacher. She has a
bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Education from Ohio University and worked for three
years as an educator at Sea World in Aurora. Andrea, has served as a substitute teacher and as
our publicity chairperson. This year she is chairperson for the Pre-K Class, for which her daughter,
Emerie, is a student. She attended Kent State University and has worked in the hotel industry. She
has been a classroom volunteer at Lomond Elementary where her older daughter attends.
